Het ACIL organiseert haar eerste Global Justice Session van het academisch jaar. Tijdens dit Engelstalige gastcollege zal judge Chung een inkijkje geven in de recente ontwikkelingen bij de International Criminal Court.

Over het evenement
Covered will be issues such as: Essence of ICC judicial process, Importance of Pre-Trial stage, Evidence issues of Trial stage, Introduction of important recent decisions, Improving efficiency on procedural and practical aspects, Comparison between the ICC and ad hoc tribunals including the ECCC. Judge Chung will pay particular attention to crimes against humanity (CAH) and war crimes (WC) when he introduces recent decisions. Moreover, Judge Chung will address the ECC and will deal with issues of procedural law at the ICC. After his lecture of about 100 minutes, there will be a Q&A session.
